Miquel S. Berenguer, originally from Barcelona, Spain, arrived in New Orleans 10 years ago, where he began working as a news editor at Telemundo New Orleans. He is currently the news director and production manager for the same television station.
He is President of Global Media Solutions LLC.
He also actively participated in the creation of the Latin festival Que Pasa Fest and the New Orleans International Guitar Festival, and is vice president of the Louisiana chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ).
Although he studied Computer Science, Communications, Theater, Music, and Graphic Design, he has been an active journalist for over 20 years and has contributed to various media outlets in Spain for another 15 years.
He lives in Kenner and actively collaborates with the Latin community, trying to help promote the best of it.
