Patricia Riddlebarger is vice president of Corporate Social Responsibility for Entergy Corporation, a Fortune 500 energy company. In this role, Ms. Riddlebarger develops corporate citizenship strategies that strengthen stakeholder relationships and create sustainable value for the company, its 13,000 employees and 2.9 million customers in communities across the southeast and northeast United States.
Ms. Riddlebarger’s career spans 20 plus years in utilities, energy, healthcare and nonprofits. Her areas of expertise include corporate citizenship, corporate communications, social media, legislative advocacy, stakeholder engagement, media relations, advertising and fundraising. Ms. Riddlebarger has an MBA from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin.
Ms. Riddlebarger is accredited by the International Association of Business Communicators and is the recipient of more than 40 local, regional and national awards for her work in the communications field.
She was named one of the top 10 Latina corporate executives in the U.S. by Latina Style Magazine in 2017 and has been recognized as one of the top 50 businesswomen in New Orleans in 2011 and 2006 by New Orleans City Business magazine. She was a Young Leadership Council Role Model honoree in 2011.
A native Texan, Ms. Riddlebarger, is proud to be a first-generation American. She and her husband, Philip, are the proud parents of two sons.
An avid reader, collector of prose, and random trivia, Ms. Riddlebarger takes inspiration from many sources, but an enduring favorite is the poet Maya Angelou who once said: “My mission in life is not just to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor and some style.”
