We are proud to partner with Goldman Sachs 10,000 unleashing the big power of small business! The 10,000 Small Business Program is an investment to help small businesses grow and create jobs by providing them with greater access to education, capital, and business support services. The Delgado Community College host this program in Louisiana and to date many HCCL Members has benefit with access to world class education and connections to a professional support network at no cost.
The HCCL has played a key role connecting Hispanic Business with this important organization channeling programs, access to capital, as well as advocating for equitable allocation of resources. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, to preserve free competitive enterprise and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation.
The USHCC is the primary voice in the nation for the Hispanic business community in Washington D.C., collaborating with a national network of media partners and America’s largest corporations to engage in powerful business advocacy to represent Hispanic Business interests. The HCCL is an affiliate Chamber of Commerce to the greater USHCC with exclusive participation to initiatives, free access to educational programs, grants and more.
The Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO) is an complementary arm of Jefferson Parish government with the main objective of attracting, growing and creating new business in our area. JEDCO’s mission is to proactively influence the economy through the retention and creation of quality jobs, entrepreneurship and investment in Jefferson Parish.
